The game was an elimination game, and Ascend quickly gained momentum thanks to CNED’s outstanding performance. If 100 Thieves wanted to win, they had to find a way to beat CNED. For me, 100 Thieves brought to light the fact that Valorant requires more than just mechanical skills, rather, it requires the experience and composure to adapt and recreate the meta one round at a time. Hiko, Steel, and Nitro had been on the eSports scene for a significant amount of time, and they made the mother of all comebacks against a young and mechanically gifted South team.
