This off-season, “roster mania” has hit the VCT hard, leading to a lot of roster changes that fans can’t wait to see in action. Sentinels have put together a new team for the 2023 season in hopes of making a comeback. The new team includes TenZ, Sacy, and pANcada from LOUD, as well as dephh and Zekken from XSET. They have high goals for the season. They will start their LOCK/IN on Friday, February 24, with a rematch against Fnatic, which is sure to be a tough game.

In the Pacific, the strong teams Paper Rex, DRX, and ZETA Division are bringing back their rosters from 2022 and adding a sixth player. Mainstays like Fnatic, 100 Thieves, Leviatán, and BBL are mostly the same, but there are some new faces in their jerseys. The 2023 meta will be revealed at the 2023 tournament in São Paulo. We’ll have to wait and watch whether snipers return to Jett, if Killjoy and Cypher appear, or if new agents take over. Harbor, the newest agent, could make his international VCT debut at LOCK/IN, and Lotus, the newest map, could be used in a professional competition for the first time.
