Many players find it hard to get good at the Operator in VALORANT. This high-risk, high-reward sniper rifle can change the course of a game in seconds, but only in the hands of a skilled and strategic player. This detailed guide is for you if you want to become an OP god and crush your enemies. In this guide, we’ll show you how to become a sharpshooter with the Operator by giving you tips and tricks.

The Operator, which costs a huge 4,700 credits, is the most expensive gun in Valorant. It’s a strong gun that can kill enemies with a single shot. But because of how much it costs, you’ll need to be careful when you buy it. The Operator is a high-risk, high-reward weapon, so to get the most out of it, you’ll need to be skilled and strategic.

    Choosing an Agent:

Jet and Chamber are the best choices when it comes to choosing an agent to use with the Operator. Jet’s ability to dash and move quickly can help you get to good spots faster, and her smokes can hide you from enemies and help you reposition after taking a shot. You can definitely dominate with other agents and the Operator, but Jett and Chamber were specifically designed for this weapon.

Reticle’s Sensitivity and Field of View:

Setting the Operator’s sensitivity and scope reticle is essential for using it well. Keeping your scope’s sensitivity at one will make it the same as your normal sensitivity, which is important for making sure you can aim consistently. Your scope’s reticle should also have a center dot opacity of 1 and a center dot thickness of 0.8. This will help you aim better and hit your targets more easily.

Toggle or Hold for Sniper Scope:

In VALORANT, there are two ways to change the sniper scope: toggle and hold. If you choose the toggle option, you can click once to zoom in and once to zoom out. If you choose the hold option, you have to hold the button down to zoom in and let it go to zoom out. Both choices have pros and cons, so the best thing to do is to try both and see which one works best for you.

The three main parts of Awping are:

    Peeking

To use the Operator, you need to know how to peek. There are three main ways to peek with the Operator: the standard peek, the crouch peek, and the jump peek. Standard peeking works well, but it keeps your head level, which makes it easier for enemies to headshot you. When you peek while crouching, the enemy’s crosshair moves, but you have to readjust. Jump peeking works well against rifles, but you have to time it just right.

Here’s a good example of how to crouch peek an opponent.

    Crosshair Placement:

In VALORANT, the placement of the crosshair is important for every gun, but it’s especially important for the Operator. Aim at the body rather than the enemy’s head and put your crosshair where you think they’ll peek. This will make it more likely that you hit the enemy in the head and kill them quickly.

    Positioning:

When you use the Operator, positioning is very important. Use it in places where you can see a long way, like C Long on Haven or Top-mid in Ascent. Stay away from close combat, since the Operator is not as good at it. Try to use the gun from angles or places that the enemy wouldn’t expect to catch them off guard. Keep an eye on your surroundings and possible ways to flank you. Don’t overextend or push too far up the map, since the Operator isn’t very flexible in close-quarters situations.

Mastering the Operator in VALORANT is not an easy feat, but it is achievable with practice and dedication. Make sure you pick the right agent, change your sensitivity and scope settings, and learn the basics of peeking, placing your crosshair, and positioning. Using the Operator is a high-risk, high-reward situation, and it’s crucial to use it strategically and carefully.
