Valorant is one of the most competitive games right now, and players who reach the top ranks in their area are often thought to be the best at the game. But what happens when a player is number one in more than one region? Well, Sentinels player Gustavo ‘Sacy’ Rossi has done just that.
Sacy has made history by hitting the top spot in Brazil, Europe, and North America. It’s a great accomplishment that shows how skilled and versatile he is as a player.
The Brazilian player first got to the top in his own country, which must have made him very happy. He didn’t stop there, though. Then, Sacy took over the European server and became the best player there.
Now, he has done the same thing in North America. With a ranked number of 1,178 and 88 wins, he has reached the top spot for the first time. On April 20, Sacy reached this milestone while streaming. One of his mods tweeted about it, which caused a stir in the Valorant community.
Valorant Pro Sacy Sets New Record with Top Rank in Three Different Regions
Sacy played 127 rounds and won 69% of them on her way to the top spot in North America. Tracker.gg says that he also had a Kill/Assist/Survive/Trade rate of 80%, which puts him in the top 0.8% of players on the server. In his most recent climb, his main role was Initiator. He played Sova in more than 45 matches, and Skye was where he won the most games (82%).
Sacy is known for playing Initiators in professional games, but he has also played other parts for Sentinels as the team figures out its new lineup. On the ranked ladder, Sacy has done well, but in the first three weeks of VCT Americas, his team has only won one match.
But Sacy will have a chance to win at the professional level on April 21, when his new team, Sentinels, plays his old team, LOUD, in VCT Americas.
This shows how hard Sacy has worked, how dedicated he has been, and how good he is as a player. It’s hard enough to be number one in just one area, let alone three. Sacy’s success shows that if you work hard and practice, you can do anything.
The Valorant community has been quick to congratulate Sacy on his success, and it’s safe to say that he has solidified his place in Valorant history as one of the best players to ever play the game.
Sacy may now bask in the glory of his historic accomplishment, but it will be interesting to see what he accomplishes next in his career.
