The Inside Story of TenZ’s Injury and Positive Test Result

Sentinels is one of the best Valorant teams in the world. Recently, Tyson ‘TenZ’ Ngo was replaced by Jimmy ‘Marved’ Nguyen in VCT Americas, which was a big change for the team. Fans of the team may have been surprised by this decision and may be asking why TenZ isn’t playing. In this blog post, we’ll talk about why this change was made.

First of all, TenZ’s fiancée said that he had been dealing with an injured finger for a while and had to play through it at the start of the split. This injury probably hurt his performance, so the team let him rest and get better. But that isn’t the only reason why things are changing.

The Inside Story of TenZ’s Injury and Positive Test Result

Before the end of Week 3 of VCT Americas, Sentinels didn’t have a replacement player for TenZ. Hunter ‘SicK’ Mims was the team’s original substitute player. After he was arrested on March 4 for suspected criminal trespassing, the team suspended him internally. This meant that the Sentinels didn’t have a sixth player until March 13, when they signed Marved. But the Canadian couldn’t travel or play in games until Week 4 because of problems with his visa.

Once Marved was able to travel, he started Week 4 of VCT Americas instead of TenZ. Adam “kaplan” Kaplan, the new head coach of the Sentinels, said that this was done to give TenZ time to rest after he had played through an injury and illness. During the VCT Americas super week, Marved showed signs of his old self and helped the team get a 1-1 record, with a win over MIBR and a close loss to LOUD.

Marved will stay in the starting group for the rest of the VCT Americas split, Sentinels said on April 27. Kaplan said that Marved looked good with the rest of the team, and after talking to TenZ, he decided that the best thing for the player to do would be to sit out the rest of the split. Kaplan said that Marved would stay in the starting group because of the short split and the team’s desire to make it to VCT Masters Tokyo.

Even though TenZ is not playing in VCT Americas, he is still on the Sentinels squad and will be with the team throughout the process. Sentinels only have four more matches left in the VCT Americas to win more games and get into the playoffs. At the time of writing, the team is seventh in the league table with a 2-3 record.
