Disguised Toast confirms departure of XXiF from Valorant team

The owner of the Disguised Valorant team, Disguised Toast, has announced that they will be making yet another roster change before their debut in the NA Challengers Split 2 tournament. Damion “XXiF” Cook, who had been on the team since it was formed in January, is leaving, the team said. This news comes after Valorant’s best player, Jaccob “yay” Whiteaker, was just added to the team a few days ago.

Today we say farewell to @XXiFtv from DSG.

Damion is an incredible player and a great teammate, we have no doubts he will continue to make waves in the Valorant scene.

We are extremely thankful for all of his contribution to DSG's early beginnings and wish him all the best! pic.twitter.com/oC5iWEuokh

Disguised Toast said that the team is still thinking about different choices and that there may be one more change to the team before Split 2. George Geddes, an independent writer, said that Michael “nerve” Yerrow, who used to play for Soniqs, has tried out for Disguised. But it’s not clear yet if he’ll join the team. Jake “Stewie2K” Yip, a former CS:GO pro, also tried out for Disguised, but he was told he probably wouldn’t be chosen.

Now, Disguised has less than a week to finish putting together their team for the next competition. On April 20, they will play their first game against Oxygen Esports. Joshua “steel” Nissan, Amgalan “Genghsta” Nemekhbayar, Jaccob “yay” Whiteaker, Joseph “clear” Allen, Chris “riku” Piasecki as a substitute player, and Kyle “OCEAN” O’Brien as the coach make up the present Disguised Valorant team.

Many professional teams change their lineups all the time, so it’s not strange that Disguised has done the same. It happens a lot when a team gets a celebrity like Yay, who is thought to be one of the best players in the world by most people. But the fact that XXiF, who had been in Disguised from the beginning, left may have surprised some fans.

The Disguised team has been making moves in the Valorant scene, and the addition of yay has helped them become even more well-known. With the NA Challengers Split 2 coming up, the team will have to quickly adjust to any changes in the roster and get ready for their future games.

As the Valorant scene grows, it’s important for teams to have strong rosters that can fight with the best players in the world. Disguised Toast and his team are making moves to get to the top of the scene. Only time will tell if they can keep up their momentum and continue to make a mark in the competitive world of Valorant.

What are your thoughts on Disguised’s roster changes? Do you think they have what it takes to dominate in the NA Challengers Split 2?
