Valorant is a popular first-person shooter made by Riot Games. As cheaters become more common, players are getting more worried about the game. Cheating has been a problem in online games for a long time, especially in first-person shooters like Call of Duty and Counter-Strike.
But Valorant was able to keep cheating to a minimum thanks to the game’s anti-cheat system, Vanguard, and Riot’s ongoing efforts to stop cheaters.
Rising Concerns: Cheating Reaches Alarming Levels in Valorant
Still, some players have started to complain about cheaters in Valorant, saying that there are too many of them. In a Reddit thread posted on July 15, a player named “Sad-Prize3891” brought up the issue and said that trigger bot cheaters seem to be very common on the Oceanic servers.
The situation has gotten so bad, according to their post, that it’s like the cheating problem in Counter-Strike.
The player said, “I talked about cheaters in Valorant in a post I made a few months ago, but now it’s just a joke. The OCE servers are full of trigger bots that can do more than one act before they get banned. It’s not good at all.”
They went on to say that players are cheating out of anger in the most competitive rank, Radiant elo, with public providers, and that Riot developers have to stop them by hand. “Cheating is so common in Valorant that I almost think this game is CSGO in 2018,” the player said.

Cheaters are unfortunate, but many Valorant players have only met a few of them in their time playing. Irrespective of this, a small group of people with bad luck share the same worries and think Riot isn’t taking the problem seriously.
One player said, “The cheating is definitely getting out of hand. It seems like they’ve been collecting reports for the last eight months, waiting to ban everyone at once, but they keep letting these kids play. Two weeks ago, a kid on the other team came right out and said that he had been cheating on his current account for 5 months with no problems. Doesn’t seem like Riot care.”
Even though cheating can’t be stopped completely, Riot Games has taken legal action against cheat sellers in the past. This shows how serious they are about keeping games fair. It’s likely that they will keep doing things like this to stop people from cheating in Valorant.
Valorant players are right to be worried about the growing number of cheaters. Valorant has been able to keep cheating to a minimum, but the problem seems to be getting worse. Players want Riot Games to do more to solve this problem and keep the game’s integrity.
