Greetings, Valorant Players! Patch 7.0 is here, and it brings with it a lot of changes and updates that will make your game experience better. From the addition of a new game to the arrival of a new Agent, this latest patch has something for everyone.
Let’s get into the details and look at the full list of changes that Valorant Patch 7.0 has in store for you.
General Updates
On the Spray equip screen, there is now text that shows your bound keybinds. This makes it easy to use and manage your sprays.
Agent Updates: Deadlock
The new Agent, Deadlock, who is from Norway, is now in the game. Deadlock’s abilities will give players a strategic advantage because they are meant to trap and slow down enemies. Combine her with other Agents to make strong defences and lockdown sites that are hard to get past on both offence and defence.
Modes Updates: The game is called “Team Deathmatch.”
With Patch 7.0, Valorant now has the game that everyone has been waiting for: Team Deathmatch. In this exciting game mode, you can fight fast-paced, intense battles against teams from other teams. Three new maps have been made just for Team Deathmatch to add to the excitement and give you new places to fight your great battles.
Progression System Update
- With Patch 7.0, the development system has been updated in a big way. Daily prizes now show how much you care about the game and give you Kingdom Credits as a thank you. You can use these credits to buy a wide range of accessories, Agents, and Agent Gear. Use your hard-earned Kingdom Credits to unlock and buy accessories from earlier Battle Passes, like Player Cards, Sprays, Titles, and Gun Buddies.
- Players can now unlock Agents using VP, Recruitment Tokens, or Kingdom Credits thanks to changes made to the Agent Store. Also, every time a new Agent comes out, there will be an Agent Recruitment Event that gives players free XP towards the new Agent. Utilise this chance to swiftly progress and add exciting new Agents to your Agent roster.
- All gear with an Agent theme can now be bought with Kingdom Credits. Customise your Agents with unique gear and show off your style on the battlefield.
Bug Fixes: General
- Fixed a problem where the Spray Wheel wouldn’t show up in-game if a packet dropped while the game was loading. Now, you can spray any pattern you want without having to worry about technical problems.
- Fixed a bug that let players buy things outside of the area their account was set up for. This makes sure that everyone plays fairly and that regional restrictions are followed.
- Fixed a problem where the bullet tracers of the other team could be seen during the Buy Phase, making sure that everyone has an equal chance of winning.
Bug Fixes: Agents
Chamber’s E ability, “Rendezvous,” has been fixed so that if the player is Suppressed in the middle of its motion, the teleport no longer works. With this fix, the game will run more smoothly and the exchanges will be more clear.
- Yoru’s Gatecrash (E) ability has been changed so that if the player is Suppressed in the middle of the motion, the teleport will stop. This fix makes sure that teleportation works more consistently and reliably.
- From the Shadows (X), Omen’s ultimate power, will no longer let the player teleport if they are Suppressed while they are forming. This change makes Omen’s ultimate power more balanced and useful.
- Cypher’s Spycam (E) can’t be put on Lotus’s rotating doors anymore. This prevents unintended interactions and keeps the game’s structure.
- Sage’s Barrier Orb (C) no longer rotates more than once when placed with a single button press. This fixes a bug that caused this ability to act in a strange way.
- Because of a bug, Cypher could only pick up his Cyber Cage (C) during the Buy Phase on some maps. This is no longer the case.
- Raze’s Boom Bot (C) can no longer destroy Killjoy’s Alarmbot (Q) from farther away than it was meant to. This fix makes sure that these abilities work together in a fair and consistent way.
- Fixed a bug that caused the frame rate to drop when Reyna was healing with Devour (Q), making the game run more smoothly.
Bug Fixes: Social
- Fixed a bug where the Chinese Baidu Pinyin input method would only let you type in English in chat, so Chinese-speaking players can now use it as intended.
- Fixed a bug that let voice transmission continue even after the Push-to-Talk key was released. This makes sure that speech communication is clear and in control.
