Calling all Call of Duty fans: your wait is over! Call of Duty 2023, which is highly anticipated, will come out in November 2023 as a full-fledged premium standalone game. The game will be made by Sledgehammer Games. According to the latest report from industry insider Tom Henderson, the game will have a beta campaign and Early Access.
Previous rumors said that the game would be a paid add-on for Modern Warfare 2, but new information suggests that the project has changed and will now be released as a stand-alone game. The game will have a lot to do with the Modern Warfare series and might even be called Modern Warfare 3.
Modern Warfare 2’s Success Leads to Call of Duty 2023 Project
As per the leaks, the game will have two beta weekends. The first will run from October 6 to 10 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, and the second will run from October 12 to 16 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. Early Access will begin on November 2, and the full release is expected to happen on November 10.

Even though there aren’t many details about the game’s content, fans can expect a lot of remastered multiplayer maps. But the name of the game hasn’t been chosen yet, and work is still being done on it.
Since last year, people have been talking about Call of Duty 2023 and 2024. According to some previous reports, for the first time in 20 years, Call of Duty will skip a year and release the 2023 game in 2024. But this new report says that Activision isn’t going to take a year off and will instead start working on a new project in 2023.
It’s important to remember that the insider’s key dates are constantly changing. They could be off by a week or a month, or they could be right on the money. But it’s exciting to see all of this information finally come together, and fans can now start getting ready for the beta and Early Access.
People say that Modern Warfare 2’s financial success led to this new project and the decision not to take a year off. Even though the game sold more copies in the fourth quarter of 2022 than it ever had before, that doesn’t mean it was the best Call of Duty ever. We’ll have to see if the new title keeps up the same buzz and if it could be as big as we all hope it could be.
