When Raven Software added all three maps to the weekly playlist update for Warzone 2, players were very jumping with joy. But their excitement quickly turned to anger when they found a catch that made many community members rage out of their minds.
Warzone 2, the sequel to the battle royale game, has a weekly playlist rotation system. Raven Software gives players new game modes, maps, and squad sizes every week. It seems like solos, duos, trios, and quads have been ignored by the developers over and over again.

One clear sign of this lack of care was that Al Mazrah didn’t have a solo squad size choice for several weeks. Despite earlier promoting support for all squad sizes, Ashika Island’s developers were criticised when the game only had quads available.
Locked Behind Maps: Warzone 2’s Squad Size Restrictions Frustrate Players
In the current playlist update, users were disappointed to find that several squad sizes had been taken away from all three Warzone 2 maps. The only way to get a good deal on a car is to drive it.
The choice to restrict the number of people who can play a game is a result of the fact that many players prefer to play by themselves. When their favourite squad size is locked behind an area they don’t like to play, it makes things worse.
Over 700 people posted on the post about the playlist update, which showed how upset the community was. Many people were upset that there were not enough solo options. One player pleaded, “Can we please keep the BR solos?” “Why can’t I play by myself?”
Others agreed with this and asked why the developers didn’t care about solo players. One member of the community asked, “At what point do you guys get tired of seeing solo players fill up your playlist?” Another unhappy player said, “I’m starting to think that none of these games were ever meant to be played by just one person.”
Sad to say, it doesn’t look like Warzone 2‘s weekly playlist rotation will change any time soon. Players who are unhappy with how things are now can only hope to make their voices heard on social media platforms and keep pushing for change.
As the community waits for an answer from the developers, it is still unclear if they will address these concerns and make the game more fun for all players. Anyways, players are welcome to share their thoughts and views in the comments section below and join the ongoing conversation about Warzone 2’s squad size limits.
