Legendary EU CDL player Zer0, who is known for his amazing skills and contributions to the professional Call of Duty scene, made a big announcement recently. Zer0 has decided to quit professional Call of Duty after 10 years of tough competition. He will leave the CDL scene before the 2024 season starts.

Several famous people have left the 2024 CDL rostermania, which has been a big story. Sam ‘Octane’ Larew, a multiple-time Call of Duty champion and the world champion for 2022, announced his retirement in June. Now, Zer0 is leaving the competitive Call of Duty scene with him.

Zer0’s journey began in 2015, when he joined Team Infused for the first season of the Call of Duty World League. Since then, he has continued to be a well-known person in the scene.

Legendary EU CDL Player Zer0 Announces Retirement

Zer0 was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the 2017 CWL Global Pro League Stage 1 Playoffs. He is known for his great sniping skills. He finished third at the 2019 CWL League Finals with FaZe and has won two tournaments over the course of his career.

During the time of the CDL, Zer0 played for the New York team during the 2020 season. He also played for the London Royal Ravens twice. But on July 7, he said he was done playing Call of Duty professionally. This was the end of an era for this talented player.

In his statement about leaving the Call of Duty scene, Zer0 was thankful for the amazing time he had there.

He thanked everyone who had helped him since he first started playing competitively until he became one of the first European players to win an event in North America. Zer0 also hinted that he might work in the CDL in the future as a coach or general manager and asked interested teams to get in touch.

The Call of Duty community gave Zer0 a lot of love and thanks for what he did for the scene. The only way to know for sure if you’re going to get a job is if you have a job. Attach, a former Minnesota Rokkr player, thanked Zer0 for being his friend and wished him luck in his new job as a coach. Gismo, who used to play with Zer0 on the London Royal Ravens, thanked him for his help and said that he was one of the most honest people in the scene.

Zer0 is starting a new chapter in his life, but the Call of Duty community will always remember his legacy and how he changed the professional scene. His retirement marks the end of an era for a Call of Duty player who has left an indelible mark on the competitive scene.
