Easiest Team Building Mode in FU : EAFC Squad Battles Guide

I’ll be honest, I’m not a big fan of sweating it out in FUT champions 24/7. I’d prefer the usual 4 match warm-up against an AI team with a difficulty rating of “World Class”.

I understand that this is not a popular opinion among many players as they use the Squad Battles mode primarily to finish their objectives and get out of there ASAP. Well, Squad Battles can lift your team to another level if played right, and here’s all you need to know about it.

Squad Battles is a mode where you play single-player matches against AI-controlled teams. Your goal is to earn as many points as possible. Winning is important, but even if you lose, you still get some points.

    Points, Not Wins:

Unlike other modes like Division Rivals, where wins matter, Squad Battles are all about points. To achieve higher ranks, you need to be within a certain percentage of players in terms of points earned.

For instance, Elite 1 typically requires being in the top 3% with around 40,000 to 50,000 points. This year, EA has shortened the half length to around 4 minutes each, making a complete game around 10 minutes. It’s quicker compared to Division Rivals, which usually takes 14-15 minutes per match.

    Efficiency Matters:

You earn roughly 500 to 800 coins per game, so it’s essential to be efficient. Aim for a maximum of five goals per game to avoid wasting time on replays and cinematics. Start your week with Division Rivals to secure three to seven wins. Once that’s done, switch to Squad Battles. If you’re confident, increase the difficulty for more points.

    Change Difficulty:

Adjust the difficulty based on the opponent’s team quality. If they have a weak team, increase it for more points. But against strong teams, stick to your usual difficulty level.

You can play all 32 games in Squad Battles, and you can still complete objectives even if you don’t earn points for Squad Battles that week. Use this to your advantage when trying to finish objectives.

    Trading Between Matches:

While going through Squad Battles, take breaks to trade players. Buying and selling on the transfer market can add up to significant coin gains over time.

    Weekly Rewards:

Squad Battles rewards are distributed every Sunday. Consider saving your packs for special promotions or when the team of the week looks more appealing. Create a separate team for Squad Battles, optimized for completing objectives efficiently. This will help you evolve your players faster and earn additional rewards.

By following these tips and tricks, you can maximize your earnings and rewards in Squad Battles. It’s a mode that, when used strategically, can significantly boost your EA FC Ultimate Team without requiring too much time investment. So, get out there and exploit Squad Battles the right way!
