Electronic Arts (EA) has been a partner of FIFA for almost 30 years, and their most recent game, FIFA 23, is the end of an age. But EA has told fans that their new project, EA Sports FC, will bring a “exciting new era.” There have been a lot of reports about the rebranding, and here’s what we know so far.
EA still has an impressive collection of exclusive licenses for 19,000 players on more than 700 teams in over 100 stadiums in more than 30 leagues. EA has also told fans that all the familiar game modes will still be available.

The Ultimate Team mode is one of the most famous. In this mode, players can build their dream teams out of virtual cards that look like real players. FUTZone found out that EA Sports FC Ultimate Team will have Dynamic Packs, which give players a better chance of getting high-rated or special cards if they open more packs. Fans can also expect two new Icons to join the game: Dimitar Berbatov and Bobby Charlton.

Another addition that FIFA players have been asking for for years is an online career mode, which is now in the new game. FUTZone says that EA Sports FC will finally get an online career mode, but there won’t be any real teams, the server sizes will be small, transfers will be limited, and there will be cut scenes.

Fans also like the Pro Clubs game mode, but it hasn’t changed much over the past few games. FUTZone says that EA Sports FC will add cross-platform features to Pro Clubs, which will let users on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation work together or play against each other.
Even though these reports are interesting, they should be taken with a grain of salt because FUTZone has been wrong before. EA has said that they will show more about EA Sports FC in July, so fans will have to wait until then to see what else they have in store.
EA Sports FC seems like a fun project that could give FIFA fans some of the new features and game types they have been asking for. With the addition of new Icons, an online career mode, and cross-platform features in Pro Clubs, EA Sports FC could be the next big thing in the game world.
