Call of Duty: ACHES accuses CDL of disrespectful treatment of retired players

Patrick ‘ACHES’ Price is a well-known Call of Duty pro who is known for his success in competitions and his seniority in the Call of Duty League. Players and fans alike respect him for how fiercely he competes. He’s been a part of the industry scene for quite some time, and now he’s criticised the League for disrespecting former players.

Call of Duty: ACHES accuses CDL of disrespectful treatment of retired players

The Call of Duty League (CDL) has been accused of not giving Patrick “ACHES” Price the same level of respect as other professional players, especially Matthew ‘SCUMP’ Haag.

SCUMP is known as one of the best Call of Duty players ever. He recently stopped playing competitively to focus on making content full time. The CDL told him he was retiring and said goodbye with posts of gratitude to honour what he had done for the league.

However, ACHES feel that he was not given the same level of respect by the CDL upon his retirement. ACHES has been a prominent and successful player in the league for many years, and has contributed to the growth and success of the game. He and other players believe that they deserve the same level of recognition and respect as SCUMP upon their retirements.

ACHES called out the CDL for the lack of recognition and respect given to him and other players. He stated, “It’s disheartening to see that the CDL does not show the same level of respect to players like Crimsix and Karma as they do for Scump. These players have made just as many contributions and have had just as much success in the league, yet they are not given the same level of recognition.”

Crimsix and Karma are the other players mentioned here by ACHES. These professionals have also been competing in Call of Duty for nearly a decade. Aches makes a solid argument when he claims that game companies are selective when it comes to promoting  players.

Currently, streamers are paid heavily to promote games, and Call of Duty is no exception. They neglect to recognise smaller gamers that compete at nearly the same level as Scump or Nadeshot but fail to get the same popularity. It’s only reasonable for The League to continue promoting everyone who’s dedicated a significant portion of their lives to playing the game.It should be noted that despite this, Scump and Nadeshot were able to significantly change the game and attract enormous crowds to watch it.

What are your thoughts on the situation? Clearly, Scump is not to blame for any of this, but perhaps he would agree that the league should pay more attention to retirement announcements and give everyone the appropriate “Thank You!”
