Apex Legends: Is it a pro player’s responsibility to buy in-game cosmetics? ImperialHal thinks so

Apex Legends is a popular free-to-play first-person shooter that generates revenue by selling cosmetics, which helps fund future updates. But players are getting more and more upset that skins are getting too expensive and that Heirlooms are priced too high. This anger reached a peak when the Celestial Sunrise event came out with a reactive Peacekeeper skin instead of an Heirloom skin that cost a total of $160 to unlock by buying packs.

Philip “ImperialHal” Dosen, a member of TSM, has decided to speak out about this issue. He called Apex Legends pros who don’t buy skins and heirlooms “cringe.” He thinks that these players, who make a living by playing the game, should “show some support” to EA and Respawn, the companies that made Apex Legends.

Is it a pro player’s responsibility to buy in-game cosmetics? ImperialHal thinks so

Even though it may seem pricey, well-known streamers make a ton of money playing Apex Legends, so it only makes sense for them to invest in the game they love and keep it going for as long as they can.

During a recent stream, ImperialHal unlocked the Jadeite Retribution Peacekeeper and called out “cringe” pros who don’t buy skins because they think they’re too expensive. He knows that “Respawn and EA aren’t always the best,” but he thinks that pros “might as well give them 160 bucks” because the developers are the reason they have jobs.

ImperialHal says that these pros need to “get their heads out of their a***s” and “show some support” because the developers “can’t always be perfect.” He thinks that the success of Apex Legends depends on the support of its players, and that pros who don’t buy skins and Heirlooms aren’t doing their part to help the game.

It’s important to note that ImperialHal may have a good point, but it’s up to each player to decide if they want to spend money on skins and Heirlooms or not. But it’s important to think about how players support the game and the people who work hard to make new content and updates for the community to enjoy.

To sum up, Apex Legends pro player ImperialHal has sparked a conversation among the community regarding the purchase of skins and Heirlooms in the game. ImperialHal thinks that as professional players, they should buy these in-game items to help the developers. He has called out other pros who refuse to buy them, saying they should “show some support” to the game’s creators. The debate on whether or not the cost of skins and Heirlooms is reasonable continues among players, with some agreeing with ImperialHal and others disagreeing.
