The launch of a new game is one of the most exciting things that can happen in the gaming world. The FIFA community was very excited about the beta launch of EA FC 24. This was the first game in the EA FC series after the publisher ended its long-term partnership with FIFA.
Players who were lucky enough to get closed beta codes couldn’t wait to get into the game’s virtual world and try it out before anyone else. They had no idea that a confusing turn of events was coming.
Gaming Confusion : EA FC 24 Beta Codes Lead to PGA Surprise
As the August 10 date for the closed beta period for both PS4 and Xbox players got closer, something unexpected happened. When eager players put in their unique codes, they didn’t see the expected EA FC 24. Instead, they saw a PGA Tour game that didn’t seem to have anything to do with EA FC 24. It was like the gaming universe was trying to trick them.

Even more confusing was the fact that the game’s cover art in the Xbox store showed the PGA Tour game, but the download was called “LoremIpsum 42 XSX.” The gaming community took to social media and the official EA forums to talk about how confused they were and ask for answers.
So many people were confused by this strange store listing that the EA General Questions site and Twitter accounts were flooded with questions about it. Players rushed to EA‘s Live Chat support, hoping to get answers and help. But the support staff’s answers were as different as the glitches themselves.
if you click confirm it will start installing the golf game but it’s a visual glitch and when you click on the game it loads up FC beta

Some support staff members didn’t seem to know that beta codes were given out early, which made players even more confused. On the other hand, some players said that the support team told them the problem was just a stopgap. They said that the planned EA FC 24 game would replace the mysterious PGA game once the download was done.
The title “LoremIpsum 42 XSX” only made people wonder more about it. It was a standard placeholder text that designers and developers were used to seeing, but it didn’t seem to say much about what was going on. Those who took a chance and downloaded the PGA game didn’t know what to expect, but they were relieved to find that it did, in fact, install EA FC 24.
So far, EA hasn’t said anything about it, so players don’t know how to handle the situation. Even though it hasn’t been officially recognised, there are signs of hope. Players who ran into this mysterious bug can still install the game, as it should eventually lead them to the long-awaited closed beta of EA FC 24.
