Welcome to the most recent esports news, focusing on the Call of Duty community. Today, we’re talking about Scump, one of the scene’s greatest names.

Scump, sometimes known as Seth Abner, is a Call of Duty professional player and streamer. For years, he was a big name in the competitive scene, but he recently announced his retirement from professional gaming. But don’t fret, Scump fans! He’s still active in the Call of Duty community, now hosting CDL (Call of Duty League) watch parties.

Scump disclosed on a recent stream that he had been offered a lucrative brand contract prior to his retirement from professional play. The deal was tied to the Super Bowl, but Scump eventually declined it. He said that the offer was tempting, but in the end, he decided to focus on his CDL participation. Scump further reminded the audience that if he had known about his retirement a week before the offer, he would have been at the Super Bowl holding a ticket valued at approximately $10,000.

Scump turned down Super Bowl riches to focus on the CDL season?

But, with the numbers he’s been reaching on his viewership since his retirement, it’s quite clear that he’ll be getting more similar offers to stream games in front of a packed audience. Since he turned them down this time, maybe we’ll see him at the next Super Bowl?

Scump’s dedication to the Call of Duty franchise was clear throughout his professional career. He was known for how hard he worked at practice and in preparation. He always wanted to improve his skills and help his team win. This was especially true for major CDL tournaments. Scump and his team would spend hours practicing together, looking at their opponents’ plans and making their own better. This degree of dedication and work ethic was a crucial factor in Scump’s competitive success.

Scump’s dedication to the game hasn’t changed, even though he just stopped playing professionally. As we’ve already said, he’s still involved in the Call of Duty community. He still hosts watch parties and gives his analysis on CDL matches. He frequently streams Call of Duty and discusses everything about it on a daily basis.

Scump remains a role model for new gamers, demonstrating the value of hard work and dedication. He was always excited about the game, and that excitement has never faded. Even if he is no longer a professional player, his passion for the game and dedication to it will go on.

We’re excited to see what he has in store for the future, and we’ll keep you posted on everything Scump.
