- Roberto Firmino of Liverpool was the first player to get an RTTF upgrade in FIFA 23. His overall point total went from 85 to 87, which is a two-point increase.
- The next player to get an upgrade was Kalvin Phillips of Leeds United, whose score went from 81 to 83.
At the time of the two upgrades, Firmino and Phillips were the highest-rated RTTF players in the game.

Most RTTF upgrades come out on Fridays, when EA SPORTS posts a list of the players who have been upgraded on their social media pages.
Most of the time, the upgrades have been based on how well the players did in the Champions League and the Premier League, but they have also included players from the Dutch Eredivisie, the Russian Premier League, and the Turkish Super Lig.
So far, the RTTF upgrades in FIFA 23 have been between +2 and +4 points, and the players who have gotten them come from many different countries and leagues.
Sadio Mane of Liverpool, Raheem Sterling of Manchester City, and Clement Lenglet of Barcelona are among the players who have gotten upgrades, and more are likely to come as the season winds down.
