If you had pre-ordered the ultimate edition of EA FC, it’s pretty obvious that you’ve been meticulously planning on how to spend the FC points that come along with it. To start off, the Nike mad campaign packs should be good enough to get you off your feet.

Apart from that, I’d still recommend for you to hold out on spending too many coins this early into the game. In this guide, we’re going to break down the various avenues of saving and spending coins/points in EA FC.

There are a ton of new features and elements added into the game, so let’s not waste any more time and get straight into it.

    1. Player of the Month (POTM) SBCs: One of the key aspects of the FIFA 24 market is the Player of the Month (POTM) Squad Building Challenges (SBCs). These SBCs can significantly impact player prices and provide investment opportunities. For example, the James Madison POTM SBC offered a cost-effective way to obtain an 84-rated card, making it an attractive option for many players. However, be cautious not to overspend your coins on SBCs, especially early in the game cycle.
    2. Pack SBCs and Investments: EA frequently releases Pack SBCs that require specific club items, such as PSG players. These SBCs can lead to price increases for players from the featured club. Consider investing in players from prominent clubs, like Barcelona and Real Madrid, as they may be featured in future Pack SBCs. Keep an eye on the market and be prepared to sell when prices rise due to SBC demand.
    3. Objective Packs and Investments: Objective packs, especially the 80+ Player Pick packs, have the potential to yield valuable players. Some players have reported getting top-tier cards from these packs. Investing in these players, especially if they are in demand, can be profitable. Additionally, keep an eye on special cards like Team of the Week (TOTW) items that may rise in value due to increased demand from objective rewards.
    4. SBC Fodder Investments: SBC fodder refers to players who are commonly used as squad-building materials. Look for opportunities to bid on 85-rated, 86-rated, and even 88-rated cards on the market during times of increased supply, like Squad Battle rewards. These cards tend to rise in value when new SBCs are released. Be cautious not to overpay, and aim to secure these cards at reasonable prices for potential profit.
    5. Women’s Players: An emerging trend in FIFA 24 is the growing popularity of women’s players due to their excellent in-game attributes. Some women’s players have seen significant price increases, making them attractive investments. Keep an eye on the market for popular women’s players who may continue to rise in value as more players discover their effectiveness in the game.
    6. Live Match Investments: Pay attention to live matches and performances by real-world players. Outstanding performances, especially in marquee matchups like the North London Derby or clashes between top clubs, can lead to increased demand for certain player cards. If you notice a player performing exceptionally well, consider checking their market price for potential investments.
    7. Selling into the Hype: When investing in players or items that are subject to speculation, consider selling during the hype before any official announcements. This strategy allows you to secure profits before potential price drops if expectations aren’t met. Timing your sales strategically can be essential for successful trading.

Every alternate day, EA FC introduces new content in some form or another. This may come in the form of new highly-rated Team of the Week cards or the introduction of new players into the game via Icon cards or even Flashback cards. As of now, Kevin De Bruyne’s 87-rated Flashback card is available to grind out.

Personally, I’m holding out for better cards to be dropped later this month. At the same time, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a lot of Flashback KDB cards in the opponents’ starting lineup because it’s a meta card for the opening season.

You are bound to encounter many such situations where you’ll have to make the bold decision of spending a lot of fodder on SBCs early in the game. If you could manage to exchange untradeable cards for SBCs, that would be the best path to grow and build your Ultimate Team in FIFA.

To sunm it all up, FIFA 24 Ultimate Team offers numerous opportunities to make coins in the market. Whether you’re investing in Player of the Month SBCs, Pack SBCs, objective packs, or specific player cards, staying informed in the market can lead to profitable outcomes. Remember to exercise caution, avoid overspending, and always assess the risk before making investments.

With these strategies, you can navigate the FIFA 24 market effectively and build a formidable Ultimate Team squad. Good luck, and may your coin balance keep growing.
